One of a small set of drawings I created reflecting at the completion of Means of Exchange (25th & Telegraph), a series of sculptural engagements with businesses and storefront organizations on Telegraph at 25th Street in Oakland. In developing this project, I created specific works which built upon or commissioned the skills and expertise of three businesses and organizations in the neighborhood, including a dry cleaner & tailor, vinyl record shop, and a community space dedicated to bringing to light issues of police brutality. The resulting sculptural installation is here. The project was as developed through an Art+Practice+Ideas residency from Mills College and these drawings were acquired by the Mills College Art Museum at the end of the residency.
