Project lead and founder, Christy Chan, also organized a series of site responsive projections at San Jose city hall, an area where there once stood a series of Chinatowns that were burnt down and erased, and still stands on unceded Muwekma Ohlone lands. This was Related Tactics’s contribution to that evening’s interventions.

Related Tactics (Michele Carlson, Weston Teruya, and Nate Watson) was invited to contribute a text piece to the Dear America project, a series of projected works produced by Christy Chan addressing the rise of anti-Asian violence and interrelated struggles against anti-Black state violence and white supremacy. The series features work by Christy Chan, Cathy Lu, Jenifer Wofford, Christine Wong Yap, and Mel Chin with For Freedoms. Christy is setting up a number of projections around the Bay in the coming weeks.
Dear America has received press from a number of sources, including this one in SF Weekly.
