Related Tactics public project (11/19-2/14): The future now, 3rd St corridor, Bayview, San Francisco & Thacher Gallery, USF
The future now is a sprawling, site-responsive public art project by Related Tactics on view from November 19, 2020-February 14, 2021. Illuminating facets of Black life in the city and exploring the state of national politics, this new commission will be viewable from the street and located in multiple sites within walking distance along the 3rd Street corridor of San Francisco’s Bayview neighborhood.
The public project is presented in conjunction with “Become the Monuments That Cannot Fall,” an online survey exhibition of work by Related Tactics launching December 1st and organized by Astria Suparak with USF’s MA in Museum Studies Curatorial Practicum class and commissioned by Thacher Gallery.
